Iconography is a very old art of Christian church. Icons, mosaics, frescos, and miniatures for centuries were used for bringing Christianity to people. And for us it is very important, that iconography for people of Middle Ages was a real, live and true art, various and different in every époque.
In our Fresco and Icon painting Studio we study the language of iconography and do everything to follow the tradition, while at the same time try to do our best working creatively. Icons for us are live images of sacral art, not dead models for exact copying.
In the united Christian Church of medieval times icons and frescoes were created to assist the prayerful dialogue with God and the saints.
Therefore, we attempt to comprehend the art of the Middle Ages as essential to human nature and our purpose is to enable our contemporaries to pray with sacred images of our époque.

1997 : Mercury gilding with fire heating - New Valaam Monastery (Finland)
1997 – present : Study at St. Petersburg State Academy of Fine Arts.

2000 Collaboration in fresco painting in St. John the Baptist cathedral in Pskov.
2001 July. Realization of a fresco above the southern entrance in St. John the Baptist cathedral in Pskov,
2001 September. Realization of a fresco above the entrance to St. John of Kronshtadt church in Saint Petersburg.
2002 August- September: Realization of a fresco in the house for guests in Valaam Monastery. (On the Ladoga Lake, - North-West of Russia, about 300 km to the North from Saint Petersburg).
2002 August- September: Realization of church-dedication icon for a church in Durham, Hatfield College Chapel, England.
2002 September-October: Realization of a fresco over the main entrance of St. Nicholas Church near Railway Depot. (Saint Petersburg, Russia.)
2002 November-December: Realization of a icons (1 , 2 ) for a church in Durham, , England.
2003 January, April: Realization of a icons (1 , 2 ) for St. John the Evangelist church in New Brunswick, (NJ, USA)
2003 April: Realization of church-dedication icon for St. Michael's Chapel in Piscataway, (NJ, USA) ( http://stmichaels.rutgers.edu/ )
2003 April-May: Realization of church-dedication icon of The Holy Virgin Iverskaya Portaitissa with chosen saints for a newly-built church in Maly', (near Izborsk, Pskov Region, North-West of Russia).
2003 May-June: Realization of a fresco wall-painting "The Holy Virgin of the Sign with Christ Child " over the western entrance to the Assumption church in Lez'e village in St. Petersburg Region.
2003 September-November: Realization of Fresco mural painting on cupola of Assumption church in Lez'e-Sologubovka village in St. Petersburg region, Russia.

April-May :
Realization of a true fresco mural painting in the dome of
St. John Evangelist church in New Brunswick (NJ, USA).
